Dat maakte minister <em>Edith Schippers van Volksgezondheid<\/em> vandaag bekend tijdens het Tweede Kamerdebat over preventieve maatregelen in de gezondheidszorg. Ze <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nu.nl\/gezondheid\/3487674\/cda-en-d66-willen-ambassadeur-gezondheid.html?redirect=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reageerde<\/a> hiermee op een voorstel van Hanke Bruins Slot (CDA) en Pia Dijkstra (D66).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Aanvulling op bestaande plannen<\/strong><br \/>\nDe oppositiepartijen pleiten voor het aanstellen van een ambassadeur om te bevorderen dat mensen gezonder gaan leven. Het voorstel is een aanvulling op het al bestaande Nationaal Programma Preventie, eveneens een idee van CDA en D66, en moet meer handen en voeten geven aan de preventieafspraken die nu in de maak zijn.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Geen geld over<\/strong><br \/>\nDe partijen schatten de kosten van een ambassadeur op zo\u2019n \u20ac 18 miljoen. De vorige week aangekondigde korting op kaakchirurgen zou dit bedrag beschikbaar maken. Dat het ministerie geld overheeft, bestreed minister Schippers vanmiddag echter. Tijdens het debat maakte staatssecretaris Martin van Rijn bovendien duidelijk eerst te willen wachten op de verdere uitwerking van het Nationaal Programma Preventie, dat in november wordt gepresenteerd.
